Back in my happy place: Sunshine, Family & Benihana

I'M BACK IN HOUSTON!!! WOO-HOO!!

My first meal back home had to be at my favorite restaurant of course: Benihana! I absolutely love this restaurant. Whether I grab it to-go or sit down and eat, the food and service is great every time.

This time we went during lunch time. Lunch time at Benihana is the perfect time to go because for $10-13, you can get a meal that will still leave you stuffed when you leave.

My favorite lunch entree is the Lunch Boat. The Lunch boat is served with mushroom and onion soup, Benihana salad served with ginger dressing, edamame, sashimi, half of a California roll, shrimp and vegetable tempura, fresh fruit, steamed rice and your choice of Hibachi Chicken, Julienne Steak or Hibachi Salmon. For just a few dollars extra, you can substitute steamed rice for chicken fried rice. I always ask for extra garlic butter cooked into my rice because it makes the rice taste even better!
